A Time To Reflect
A Time To Reflect
In a couple of months, we are going to be celebrating our 15th anniversary of Piña Business Services, Inc. I have been blessed to meet and provide a service for so many people across the United States.
Starting the business on February 14, 2007, in Santee, CA in the County of San Diego, CA. Wanting to help small businesses as well as have the freedom to spend time with my three kids who were 14, 5 and 4 years of age. Back then I was working out of my bedroom, I did that for 4 years until I was able to move into a different and bigger location between Santee and Lakeside, CA. Those two chambers were supportive of myself, and my business and I could not have lasted as long as I did in CA without them. Serving over 200 tax clients and 2 dozen business owners over the 7 years we had the business in California.
In 2014, my family moved to Cheyenne, WY and what has happened in the past 7 and ½ years have been unbelievable. Between making annual trips to Santee to provide a face-to-face tax appointment, to growing the business where it is today. With 2 employees working in the office every day, beside myself to serve over 30 business owners and over 200 tax clients currently. Cheyenne has been very open to us and supported our Small Business over the years. Now that all 3 kids have grown up and graduated, I don’t need the freedom to spend time with the kids anymore, but our desire to help small businesses are still as strong as they were some 14 years ago.
We still provide Bookkeeping, Payroll and Tax services as we need back in 2007. We have added some additional services over the years. Such as Tax Planning, Profit First Coaching, and Consulting. Over the next couple of blogs, I will go in more detail the added services that we provide and the direction I see the business going over the next 7 years. Naming the business, Piña Business Services, Inc., was a design to provide more than just Bookkeeping and Taxes, I always wanted to give back to Small Business Owners.
