Hi, my name is Gabriel J. Piña, I was born and raised in San Diego, Ca. The youngest of 4, my parents are both San Diego natives. My mom had her own Bookkeeping/Tax business when I was growing up and she would take me to her clients every now and then. Giving me the taste of the business world.
I graduated from Crawford High School attending the Business Magnet Program, having accounting classes for 4 years, a Marketing class and various other business classes. I learned so much about the business world in those 4 years, giving me more of an itch of the business world.
Over the years, I had different office jobs, my favorite position was Payroll Manager and working at a box tax company. In 2007, we had an opportunity to start my own business. With the encouragement from my biggest supporter and #1 fan, my wife Jasmine, we started Piña Business Services, providing Bookkeeping, Payroll and Tax Services. Over the next 7 years I got involved in the Santee and Lakeside Chamber as well as the community of Santee, CA where we lived. Building a business in CA does have its challenges and we have had our ups and downs over the years. But, we have kept moving forward and keep fighting the good fight.
In June of 2014, we packed up everything we had in a U-Haul with only a hotel reservation in Cheyenne, WY. We arrived on a Wednesday night, signed a lease on Thursday and moved in on Friday. Continuing the business, we doubled our business in 8 short months. Moving my office out of our home to the heart of the Historic Downtown Cheyenne area where I overlook the Depot.
I met my wife in Jan of 2000, we were married 3 months later. We have 3 amazing kids. The 1st reason why I run this business is to support my family.
The 2nd reason why I am running this business is to serve in ministry. For 3 years, I had the opportunity to serve in 2 different ministries during business hours, and it has an amazing effect on my life, family, and business.
The 3rd and final reason I run this business is to give back to the community. I have serviced on many different non-profit organizations as well as small business groups.
Our goal at Piña Business Services is to help small businesses: teaching, equipping and accountability. We share our knowledge to business owners on how to save money, how to have a profit first, and how to reinvest back into their business, themselves and their families.

Follow us on Social Media. Here you will see not only my business passions but, you will also see my other passions like: traveling, history, baseball, college football, and cigars. Although we live in Wyoming, my passion in sports still belongs in San Diego. I follow the Padres, Chargers and Aztecs. However, I am so ready for my 1st season of University of Wyoming Cowboy football. I will enjoy watching them at War Memorial Stadium this up and coming season. Go POKES!
